On June 23, 2016 the Cedarbrook Therapeutic Recreation Department will welcome members of the Moravian Church Eastern District. They will be spending their Mission Day in a variety of activities with our residents.
On June 21, 2016 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, Second Wind Dreams of Allentown sponsored the Annual Classic Car Show. The Blue Mountain Classics and additional car clubs will be featured. Dr. Rentler, Cedarbrook Allentown Medical Director, entertained with his guitar and singing. There were refreshments such as Barbeque Sandwiches, Cabbage and Noodles, Pierogies, Cupcakes and Novelty Ice Cream selections.
Lorene began her volunteer relationship with Cedarbrook Nursing Home in 1997 and Clifford joined shortly thereafter. This incredible couple are very dedicated and demonstrate exceptional generosity with their time and talents to benefit the residents at Cedarbrook Nursing Home. They arrive with warm smiles and caring hearts every single Friday. Transporting residents to our Devotions program is just a very small part of the services they provide at Cedarbrook. They spend quality time visiting with each resident, getting to know them and what’s important to them. They also support other special events at Cedarbrook. Cliff and Lorene are an inspiration to all, especially our residents. At a mere 92 & 87 years of age their lives are filled by helping everyone around them. They are seniors who set an excellent example, that you can always help others. It is obvious that they care deeply for every resident. We are blessed to know them.
